When it comes to CBD, there are multiple options including full spectrum, broad spectrum, and CBD isolate. Depending on the effect you are looking for from your CBD edibles, you want to make sure you are taking the right kind. Here at Feel Good Edibles, we use CBD edibles that contain a CBD isolate to ensure that there is 0% THC in all of our products.
What’s the Difference Between CBD Edibles?
CBD isolate is exactly what it sounds like. It is the purest form of CBD without any other aspects of the cannabis plant. CBD isolate is free of THC as well. CBD isolate is processed and refined, leaving it in crystal form when it is extracted. This is what we use in our CBD edibles. CBD isolate can help you feel better by providing a calming and therapeutic effect. CBD isolate is completely legal and has no high-inducing effects.
Full Spectrum contains all aspects of the cannabis plant including a small amount of THC (up to 0.3%). This CBD may contain essential oils, terpenes, and other cannabinoids. The small amount of THC, (the part of the plant that gets you ‘high’) is such a small dose that you will likely not feel the effects of it.
Scientists have recently discovered something called the ‘entourage effect’ which is the idea that the terpenes and cannabinoids interact well with each other to help improve the effects of the CBD. It can improve mood and help with improving your workouts by decreasing your recovery time.
Broad Spectrum is comparable to Full Spectrum. It is all the good components of the cannabis plant without the part that makes you feel high. Broad spectrum CBD contains almost all the compounds that a cannabis plant has to offer without the THC. It contains the terpenes, essential oils and cannabinoids that the Full spectrum plant offers without the risk of failing a drug test. So, no THC. Because broad spectrum contains multiple parts of the plant, you may also benefit from the entourage effect.
There are a few options when choosing your CBD edibles. It is important to look at the benefits and see what will work best for you before deciding. CBD isolate is also more refined than full and broad spectrum CBD. The full and Broad spectrum types are less processed making them more natural.
